Company Profile
The demand for Mick's services, whilst doing contractual work for larger architectural practices, became so great, that there were just not enough hours in a day to get through all the new incoming enquiries. At that time every new enquiry received was by referral and that is still the case to this day. Mick's working life started as a teenager in Lister Drew Weybridge, where he spent 19 years 'quote' cutting his architectural teeth.
His draughting ability was recognised early on and he gained valuable building design experience, working on many large industrial schemes for companies such as developers Haselmere Estates, the GEC HQ in South Wales and the extensive countrywide development of petrol filling stations for Murco Petroleum.
As a result of this, he ultimately met and discussed projects with client representatives, consultants, Local Authority planners and building regulation officers.
Many years on, he has worked for several local architectural practices including M G Gleeson Group in Cheam, Hunter Price Associates in Hampton Hill, Broadway Malyan in Weybridge and RPA in Ashford. Whilst at Broadway Malyan he was a key member of the on-site architectural team, working on the multi million pound BP project at Sunbury, which lasted seven years.
